Something is wrong. Today I have seen people stand in the middle of paths looking gormless and Ive had to weave myself and the dog through them, I said nothing. A child has struck my dog twice with a plastic sword and his Dad didnt even offer an apology, I said nothing. Youffs on skateboards and those mini scooter doo-hickeys plagued us on a stretch of tarmac, I said nothing. Even the woman on this bench next to me with unfeasibly large breats in a tent of a vest who keeps gesticulating wildly at her family, causing the world and me included to see that she really chose the wrong bra to be underneath that garment hasnt brought me to speech. The Isle of Wight is having a calming effect on me.
