Something jumped out at me while posting this on a thread, where language was being discussed around Israel and Gaza, and how changing it might be key. It made me think of these circuits and how language can be part of their software (because language itself is not too substantial to me without an ontic, in this case neural correlate, or even deeper basis than a correlate). What jumped out was, taking this as a parallel to Spiral Dynamics, or the generalized integral developmental ideas, the first 4 would be first tier, and the higher four would be second tier (Leary himself divided them into these two groups of lower and higher order). What this shows to me is a good parallel theory support for the idea of second tier as decentralized, with greater individuation and agency rather than an upward translation of the old (blue/amber) top-down power structures. As we can see in this table, level 4 (the last level in first tier) is the last level where authoritarianism is present (the patriarchal hive). This may also go some ways in demonstrating the circularity in looking to these old centralized political ways for a solution that is far more evolved than it. Because looking within and growing up is 1) too elusive to spot the importance of, and difficult to do even if spotted, and 2) is opposed in who knows how many ways by the lower levels.
