Something many of you may already know about the new parking system at South Tyneside Hospital (The General)...but some may not: You are now photographed entering and leaving the grounds, so if like me tonight, you paid for one hour at visiting and came back to find yourself 9 minutes over...if you dont put another 60p in the machine, you will be photographed and possibly charged a penalty. I dont know how much leeway, if any, there is on this system..perhaps someone on here knows more. Just thought Id mention this though..the 60p bought me another half an hour. You have to key in your reg details to get a ticket, so this and the photo logs your stay x
