Something needs to be done about the bus that drives around back of the school in the morning and afternoon. I, and most of the parents Ive talked with, feel that it isnt safe for the kids that arent on the bus. I would like to see a bus lane created for all the buses. Until then, perhaps the bus could let the kids on and off in the parking lot. Another ongoing issue - Dogs are not allowed on school property, per Burlington School District policy. Every single day, people (who know the rules) bring dogs to school. Since nobody is policing the area, they feel they can get away with it, or perhaps they dont believe rules apply to them. There is a policy for a reason. Some people are scared, some are allergic, children and dogs are unpredictable. Please leave your dogs home. They dont belong at school.
