Something odd seems to be going on in the Innisfil /Barrie area........ We search all over the province, most times with great success. Oddly dogs in this area seem to be going missing and then just disappear. It is not a case of someone stealing them from the owners...all have been seen after they went missing....then suddenly nothing. There is nothing to suggest anything bad has happened to these dogs so where are they? The area they have went missing in is relatively small from the Yonge / Mapleview area to Innisfill and the Sandy Shores area. All have had great caring owners who have not forgotten their dogs, There have been confirmed sightings of these dogs. Mylee has found lots of scent, cameras and traps have been used. Normally with all that going for them these dogs, at minimum, at minimum at least two thirds of them, should have been located by now. If someone has any of these dogs, you ARE NOT IN TROUBLE and probably are unaware the dog you have is being terribly missed. No doubt the dog has feelings of loss whether you can see it or not. You may also have originally thought the dog was a stray or even may have been abused....I guarantee that is not the case! You may have had good intentions and the owners would be pleased you took care of their loved one, but these dogs belong back with heir owners that they no doubt miss. Some may have received these dogs through legal means. Maybe they were fostered out adopted, or sold before it was realized they had an owner. THEY COULD END UP ANYWHERE EVEN OUT OF PROVINCE!
