Something some may not know about me: When I was a junior in high - TopicsExpress

Something some may not know about me: When I was a junior in high school some days I would wake up and my eyes would be swollen or my ankles would be swollen two to three times its size. I didnt know until the day I had my daughter that I had a kidney disease called membranous nephropathy. The first few years I was in denial, I assumed the doctors didnt know what he was talking about. (I think that is normal way of thinking) The doctor would tell me I have two choices go on dialysis or die. I have been on dialysis for 17 years, In that 17 years I have had open heart surgery, small part of my intestines taken out, 3 1/2 of my parathyroid taken out, transplant, transplant removal ( the doctor messed up and nicked a artery and had to remove the kidney after 4 days) and a C-section. All these surgeries I have scars because of these scars the doctors at the Florida Hospital say they cant put me on the transplant list. On Thursday, we are going to Gainesville to meet with the surgeons to find out if I can go on the transplant list. I need prayers and fingers crossed.
