Something that has always puzzled me – Formula One fans always - TopicsExpress

Something that has always puzzled me – Formula One fans always inflate their sport (they have to – the real thing is rubbish!) but one thing they always speak of is how difficult a Formula One car is to drive. Im sure it is difficult to drive one at pace, but they seem to suggest that you cant even drive the car slowly: We couldnt drive a Formula One car, because the brakes and tyre need a lot of heat. If we try and drive one, they will get too cold, not grip at all and we would crash immediately! If that were so, then how do the Formula One drivers manage to complete a warm-up lap, a victory lap and how do they manage to drive behind the pace car with out spinning into a barrier?
