Something that is bothering me and need opinions from Facebook friends. A parent was telling me that she took her child to the ER and he needed stitches... why? Because another bigger boy who has been picking on him since school started, banged his head against a light pole and split his head open. He has bruises at different times from this boy. She has complained to the school on numerous occasions when these assaults happen. School states and this really makes me angry... He is an easy target Why? Because he is small and quiet... What???? She has notified the police. I realize that kids get picked on and name calling will happen..but physical abuse should not be tolerated in school or on the school bus. Her child doesnt want to go to school but of course has to... he is sick to his stomach, worries about getting hit.... he is only 6!...I guess the part that bothers me is all the anti bullying ads out there and it will not be tolerated... really??? It still is happening.
