Something that upsets me are the depiction of Vikings. 1. Vikings never had horns on their helmets. 2. Vikings were not 300lbs of muscle and 8 feet tall. These depictions were originally done by Christian artists to strike fear into people of "the pagans" and make them look barbaric. Truth is, the Vikings were amazing warriors who explored new lands, inhabited or not. Infact the term "berserk" came from the Vikings where a warrior would enter a trance and become exceptionally violent to the point that even his own body was a weapon. He would feel pain yet not yield to it. His ultimate goal was to die in battle and be taken by the Valkries (if proven worthy) to Odin and dine in Valhalla.
