Something that we take for granite today is paper towels, but you know growing up, I dont remember such an item in the house! If it hit the floor, you got it up with a mop, if it was on the table or counters you used a hot soapy dishrag and dish towels. If it was your washed your hands you used a hand towel. For everything else, Mama used her apron. I dont even remember seeing my first roll of paper towels!
