Something to learn from: On my way home from the church, a woman (broom seller) approached me and asked for money, I was having a thousand and fifty naira note with me, and I gave her the fifty naira note. After she left, I began to think that I should have given her the one thousand naira note, but funny enough, those thoughts usually come after the deed is done, not before. I later entered into a beer palour to share the gospel with a lady there, after which I headed home straight. When I got home, I played a sermon which centers on the essence of the Gospel, it moved me to pray, and as I was praying, the scene flashed back to my memory, and I felt so bad for not preaching the gospel to that woman, I was only concerned with giving her the one thousand naira note, which wouldnt have been a bad idea anyway, but the gospel and the money would have made her feel the presence of Jesus whom she needs more than any other thing. Ive asked God for forgiveness, and Im sure He has forgiven me. The reason why Im sharing this is that as believers, we have a mandate to preach the gospel to every class of people, including the carpenters, bricklayers, tomato sellers, millionaires, co workers etc, and if we have the privilege to render financial assistance to anybody, by all means let us do so, but most importantly, lets see such opportunity as a means to preach the gospel to them Grace to you.
