Something to look forward to. 4K is on track to become the new video standard, with monitors, sets, and cameras becoming more and more ubiquitous. Even the Galaxy Note can shoot 4K video now. And YouTube is able to stream 4K videos too, so when you get your 4K monitor, you can see how well 4K looks in motion. It is impressive. Oh yeah, and the new iPhone can shoot slow motion video. Why is this important? Because in a few years, all those embarrassing videos of people falling off roofs or into lakes, driving badly, twerking, lighting themselves on fire, or otherwise making fools of themselves -- all those videos will be in ultra-high-definition resolution. Selfies will be reveal every last pore. And ... police identification of people breaking the law will be so much easier when face-recognition software has better resolution to work with.
