Something we would encourage the citizens to ask during the hearings on the not one, but two Comp Plans, is where is the cost analysis, as required by the City Charter. If they say that since 95% of the plan is the same one that they refused to bring to the ballot, and they are using that cost analysis. Then ask them why Ask Damascus leader Dan Phegley was blasting that plan, and stating that it had an inadequate cost analysis. If the cost analysis wasnt good enough for that plan, how can it be good enough for these two? And please note, even only changing 5% of the plan can be very significant! The heart makes up only 0.5% of our human body weight. Think you can live without that 0.5%? A little crucial huh?
