Sometime back I had caused great offence to close family and had the painstaking task of confronting and apologising for my actions. I initially in my arrogance figured well they need me more than I need them right now, but paps corrected my chain of thought giving me a lecture on valuing close family relations and further challenge me to humbly confront and be responsible for my actions. He used the common tokpisin phrase Yu man Tru yu go front up na apologise. Thats exactly what I did and I had a bit of anxiety as I turned up late into the night. I was quite surprised actually that they were satisfied with my apology and for being a responsible man taking responsibility for my actions. I felt good actually that they had accepted my apology. I was expecting maybe a near miss punch to my face or some extremely degrading words flung at me at a million miles an hour etc (was contemplating all this things while heading to them.lol).
