Sometime in 2009/10 I took a decision to register with UNISA for an undergraduate Degree in Public Administration and Communication Facilitation, it was a very tough decision considering the fact that I was a shop-steward in the workplace, a community activist is society, a leader in the ANC Branch, a member of the ANC Youth League Regional Executive Committee, a husband, a father, a prospective entrepreneur as owner of Jakobhe Mandomane Trading & Projects as well as a partner in Buciko Technology and a friend to many. I am grateful to the Almighty and all those who travelled this long journey with me at a very slow pace. It was a very tough balancing act requiring me to share my time between family, personal, professional, academic, social and business life. Today marks the conclusion of the long journey as I will sit for my last examination and commence with the waiting for the results sometime in December. I have learned a few things whilst embarking on this journey, amongst them being the support I have been receiving from my wife, my parents, my siblings, the support from my friends and colleagues in the workplace, the encouragement from my comrades and the meaning of sacrifice. I am confident that I will pass all my modules and be admitted to an Undergraduate programme next year, I am more determined to pursue my postgraduate studies considering the environment I find myself in. Thank you very much to everyone who has travelled this journey with me, I promise to never disappoint.
