Sometimes-- I judge my day by how many dishes are left in the sink. How much laundry is left unfolded. How many cheerios are stuck to my feet when I walk across the floor, or how much back editing I have to do. After a day INCREDIBLY full of running around, editing, cleaning, helping with homework, baking, cooking etc... it can feel SO frustrating. This video, struck home on so many levels. It was an incredible reminder to Moms everywhere of the beautiful hymn stating: Have I done any good in the world today, have I helped anyone in need? Have I cheered up the sad, or made someone feel glad? If not, I have failed indeed. This in mind-- We should not judge ourselves by the cleanliness of our homes, but by the happiness of our Spouse and children. We shouldnt judge ourselves by how we dress or by how much money we make, but by how we use those funds to help others. And that in the end, it wont matter how high socially we climb, but that we took care of our friends and neighbors. Mosiah 2:17 And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings, ye are only in the service of your God. #sharegoodness
