Sometimes, God will lead you into a place that you never intended or expected to go. You will wonder why youre there, especially if things are not going the way you thought theyd go or if things happen that you never planned on happening. Its complicated, but something I am learning is that His ways and thoughts truly are higher than ours (see Isaiah 55:9) and somehow, He works ALL things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purposes (see Romans 8:28....ALL things, not just the pleasant or right things we do.....). Some of the places Hes let me go (without cutting it off at the pass, as He clearly has ALL power to do!) make my head spin when I think about them, especially as I consider how He has leveraged those things in my life to extract His purposes from them...in a huge way. Furthermore, we must be so careful how we counsel each other and how we receive counsel from others because even when a situation in our lives looks all wrong & even when it is Biblically wrong..........it doesnt mean God isnt in the middle of it doing His thing to get glory for Himself at the end of the day (so to speak). Im so grateful for how Hes expanding my mind and teaching me to think differently because you know what? My perception of things is just....my perception. It doesnt mean it lines up with His will, regardless of how right or wrong I think someone or something is (including myself & my situations!).......................SMH!!! Personal relationship with Jesus rocks!!!
