Sometimes I am a little uncomfortable posting memes like this. I get a bit nervous about appearing pretentious. But, Im at a crossroad in my life where I feel a great deal of dissatisfaction....a dissatisfaction that I hope is an inspirational dissatisfaction. While my youth is a thing of the past, I am not yet ready to declare myself or define myself as old. It is inevitable that we will age in our physical bodies. We have no choice in that, but we make our choices in how we allow ourselves to age in our hearts and spirits. A mature heart and spirit is a great thing to desire and work on and something to greatly aspire. But, we should never allow anything but growth and health in these areas. We should never grow so old in heart and spirit that we dont exercise and allow growth in both. I am about to take on some personal challenges that I must in order to get past various obstacles and roadblocks in my life that have held me back. Of course, I ask for prayers from all. It is to those that know me best and encounter me beyond social media, that I ask to allow me the most vulnerability, support, and hold me accountable. Im working on myself and special goals and dreams. Im venturing past my comfort zone and Im both positive and scared. Thank yall for being there for me. As has been often pointed out...brevity is not my strong suit. Lol
