Sometimes I do silly things like read the lyrics to the dumbest rap songs Ive ever heard. A couple of years ago I sat on the couch at Tya Eyeni Anthony and Kenneth SunRa Anthonys house (The Den) and read aloud the lyrics to LL COOL Js Pink Cookies in a Plastic Bag O_O that was a sobering moment. Today after editing pics from the event I shot last night and being in work mode since 7am I decided to look up the words to YGs My Hitta simply because I wanted to know when and why the word Hitta replaced Nigga recently in most rap songs and if it was a better option. Needless to say upon reading the lyrics in their entirety I realized that the word Hitta doesnt even matter because the song is just TERRIBLE... cant analyze a song that makes you want to throw up on your shoes for wasting the 5 mins it took to read it... I CANT GET THOSE MINUTES BACK! Another sobering moment. And black folks are all in an uproar about Scandal... just go read some stupid rap lyrics...we have way more truly ignorant ish to worry about... #PrayinForMyHittas (lol... I couldnt even type that hash tag with a straight face)
