Sometimes, I feel like my brain is a hamster wheel. Ideas float in - TopicsExpress

Sometimes, I feel like my brain is a hamster wheel. Ideas float in and out faster than I can recognize them, but once something lodges in my brain, it’s on repeat. I replay the same situations over and over, I think about the future and the past, and find myself stuck in a cycle of worry, discomfort, and trying to control things. The best way I’ve found to alleviate this is to keep my mind too busy to focus on these things. If I’m constantly interacting with people, laughing, exercising, or doing something else, my mind doesn’t have the free time to find something to obsess over. When I’m not obsessing, my internal state is much calmer and free of panic, and that is a great feeling. -T4A Staff Member
