Sometimes I like toying with the minds of spammers and scammers. Just now I sent a reply to the Angelique Mapon 419 scam: Angelique Mapon, you write: > Hello Dear At it again with the inappropriate intimacy, eh? We went over that before, remember? > How are you today, Thanks for your respond. with due respect and > humbleness, I AM writing you this letter to request from my sincere > heart for your assistance and hoped that my request shall meet you > in good condition. First of all, WHAT did I just write to you? You forgot? Then let me refresh your memory. You wrote: > excuse me, i have gone through your profile a little on Facebook > and was moved to send you this short [email?], and if you dont > mind, to [please?] contact me back with this via for further > communications and i will also send you my photos, thanks and > yours Angelique. And I replied: > If you really like my Facebook profile, please contact me via > Facebook. Ill be looking for your message there. > > THIS email address, though, is not publicized. (Where did you get it?) > Dont contact me HERE. Contact me on Facebook only. Any further emails > from you to this address will be ignored. But you didnt try to contact me on Facebook. Instead, you violated my instructions and did exactly what I told you NOT to do: You replied via this email address. As I said, this address is NOT publicized. So I ask you once again: Where did you get it? > Believing that if it is the wish of Almighty God for you to help me, > Almighty God will bless and reward you abundantly Gods are myths. > i am given you 100% guaranty that you will not regret this in any > way. Only a god could give such a guarantee, and as I said, gods are myths. > My name is Miss Angelique Mapon, Nope. Youre almost certainly a 55yo male Nigerian with a name like Ngwap Salgacha or some damn such thing. > I am 24 years old, Nope. Youre almost certainly a 55yo male Nigerian with a name like Ngwap Salgacha or some damn such thing. > My late Father Was Chief Rafiu Mapon, who was among the head and > Traditional ruler of the Siguiri gold mining town in sierra lone > before he pass away. Nope, I dont think so. > He Deposited The sum of US$7.4 Million Dollars with 30 kg of gold > dust plus 22.7 carat Alluvial Gold Dust of 92.6% purity, > Sierra Loan origin for sale.in Security company in Dakar Senegal > before he died last two months ago ( may his gentle soul rest in > peace ) Nope, I dont think so. > during his time in hospital, he briefed me in close confidence of > his Money, that inside consignment box which deposited in security > company, one trunk box contain the sum of US$7.4 Million Dollars > For safe keeping as the result of insecurity in my country > Sierra loan. Thats Sierra Leon, not Sierra Loan. Obviously, youve never even been there, much less live there. > Remember I am revealing my secret to you, because I need help and > I actually prayed hat out of the three mail I sent out as i was > told by my room mate to give a try that anyone that I received > first will be the person to assist me, which is more or less a > divine thing, Yes, money is divine to you, that much is clear. But no, Im not the first to reply to you. Youve seen this email to MANY people. > moreover you can please call me with this number +221-771-105-351. Nope, I dont think I will. But yes, thats a Senegal number. Youve sent that number to MANY people. Records of your 419 scam are all over the web. For example: 419scam.org/emails/2014-11/29/00104810.6.htm > it is the number of the reverend father in charge of the Church > where i am living now, his name is reverend father Philip Domingo, > if you call, just let him know that you want to speak with me, > he will send for me to answer your call. More likely, its your moms or dads phone. :::rolls eyes::: > This Money as he told me was made for the purchase of industrial > plants before he failed ill unfortunately he pass away. In the > process of securing This Money, I left my home town to the country > where i am here in Dakar Senegal, for security reason. But My late > father advice me before his death to move this Money to any foreign > country of my choice where it will be properly invested as it is > not safe investing in my country due to the same people that killed > him. It is based on this advice that I am contacting you as I am > just a student and does not have any knowledge And capacity of > investing This money. Im not an investment expert. I suggest you go to your nearest large city and talk to a real investment adviser, if you have anything to invest. > Please I want you to be my friend and my helper so that I will not > make a mistake concerning this money according to their advise > giving to me, that i should seek for a foreign partner that will > be the trustee to my late father fund since my country status do > not permit me to partake with such huge amount for security purpose, If youre telling the truth, then send me just one more photograph of yourself. But THIS time, send me a photograph of yourself holding a piece of paper with the following written on it in bold black ink (use a wide tip marking pen such as a sharpie): Hello, [insert my name here] from [insert your name here] at [insert time here] on [insert date here] That will tell me that youre not just sending me a photo of some random person. > if you are ready to help me please foolish me with you contacts > informations such as > 1; FULL NAME:----------- > 2; country: ----------------- > 3; Contact address: > 4; My Telephone:--- > 5; Marital situation -------- Please FOOLISH me with...??? Yes, Id be foolish to do that. No, FIRST, you send me the photograph of yourself holding up the sign as I described above: If youre telling the truth, then send me just one more photograph of yourself. (BTW, the two photos you sent me to not appear to be photos of the same person, and the one wearing the business attire is traceable to a dating site in Mauritius, not Senegal or Sierra Leon.) > And that was why i contacted you in this regards when this money > was transfer or delivered to your account or country then i will > come over there to take 70% out of this money, then you will take > 30% If you are interested and want to be the one i am seeking. Do you have ANY idea of how old, trite, and unbelievable these unimaginative 419 scams sound? > Please get back to me because i really need your urgent and > positive respond. No you dont. Youve been running this scam for at LEAST 40 days already. I noticed that Yahoo cancelled your account because you got caught scamming people, so now youre on outlook instead. But you KNEW that was going to happen, didnt you? Thats why you had your reply to set to your outlook account from the beginning of your scam. SOP for 419ers. > Yours Sincerity. Thats Sincerely yours, Miss Angelique Mapon. Nope, I seriously doubt thats your name. -- Cheers, Robbie Hatley
