Sometimes I say I dont care because Ive dealt with so much pain in my life that telling myself I dont care is really the only thing I know how to do. Maybe I can say it so honestly because instead of accepting the situation I automatically tell myself not to care if I know it would hurt the girl I used to be. Maybe I really am just heartless because after years of forcing my heart not to feel anything, if I tell myself not to care, I simply wont, . Maybe. Youll be a lingering thought or maybe I wont think of you at all, but saying I dont care is my way of letting my heart know that its in a vulnerable situation and a position to possibly be ley down , my heart cant take much more misery, I just want to be happy. So keep in mind if I tell you I dont care, maybe I really dont. Or maybe I really, really do.
