Sometimes I see a lot of sense why early Roman Catholic Church - TopicsExpress

Sometimes I see a lot of sense why early Roman Catholic Church prohibited people from reading the bible on their own. Misinterpretation of the bible is very common nowadays-everyone says has seen the truth even without intellectual defense with which they could make a reasonable judgment about it. People are waking up every day with new calls to start ministries, others as prophet (some commercial one)..Most of them come with prophesies that instill fear and full of uncertainty in them. Why not to start charity work instead, wake up in the morning take a Jembe or a mallet and then give the proceeds to charity- but I think God call should not b tasking and all men of God should be given and maintained for free, I guess so. But our greatest father of faith st. Paul used to work with his own hands not to be a burden to other people and mislead them? Anyway, away from that. That being not my topic today my biggest concern is on Christians in particular Protestants…. Am not after determining the church people follow or which is the best church to be, my quest is to know why protestant churches do not follow the same order since they all shared the same differences when they first split? I do not want 2 highlight casuses, you all know, I guess. I think Lutheran church should be one church because he was the main proponent of the first Protestant church and no theological view has ever challenged his to date! Misinterpretation? why over 30,000 different protestant churches to date? Sometimes i wonder when i see two churches adjacent to each others not relating with each other because their followers might go the other one. why not join and form one church? after all they pray, worship and praise one God! And while the Roman Catholic Church prohibited because people were illiterate at that time, they were likely hood of misinterpretations of the scriptures; it sought to curb heresies and wrong understanding of the bible. However, that not to say people can’t read the bible on their own, they can. In the fore goings, I there4 tend to believe to a certain extent that the bible should be interpreted by people with enough intellectual knowledge and experience to avoid ambiguity. By saying this I do not disregard that one can be inspired by the Holy Spirit and do the same. Am with all due respect to all Christians and the Christian leaders all I seek is harmony coz our God is God of order otherwise am seeing many people dying of hunger, general poverty, misleading other people and even going to hell in the name of seeking eternity.
