Sometimes I think about how things were growing up versus how they are today. We are currently living in the Age of Technology, where everything is faster, simpler, and more connected. But is it really? We carry our phones everywhere. We wake up with them and go to sleep with them. We also panic whenever the battery is low, almost as if our life were to shut down if our battery were to die. I know I am guilty of this. So as a reminder to myself and to others, lets all take a moment to acknowledge the importance of disconnecting once in a while. Because in the grand scheme of things, we are more than just what we share on social media. We are more than 140 characters. And we are certainly more than just a swipe on a phone. #disconnectandreconnect
