Sometimes I think that in a perfect world people would be able to have their funeral before they died. In his later years my dad struggled so much w/self image. I think he frequently looked over the major impact he had on so many lives. As a father. a husband. a brother. an uncle. a teacher. a friend. All of the amazing stories people have shared with me over the last year about my dad have helped me a great deal. I like to think that some how he knows how many stood up and took notice when he was taken from this world.
