Sometimes I use the Promote Page feature to reach a wider audience because Facebook only allows my posts to reach 15% of those who follow this page. I promoted the previous post about float tanks, specifically targeting those who like the topic Meditation. I had to laugh when I saw the following comment: Please dont send this work of satan to my Facebook account. Thank you. Honey, if I were promoting Satan, youd be seeing music videos by Norwegian black metal bands featuring members named Necrobutcher on drums. Or perhaps I would run a Post your inverted cross tattoo pics here! contest. Despite five hundred years having passed since the Churchs sweep through Europe torturing, maiming and murdering thousands in the name of Christ, people are still associating innocuous topics like float tanks/meditation/me (not sure which) with horns, hooves and pitchforks. Consciousness has enlightened over the decades yes, but we still have much further progress to achieve when spiritual ignorance prevails. The author of that Satan comment would be shocked to learn that I pray daily and that I think Jesus is the most righteous badass ever to have lived. I regularly invoke His protection, especially when practicing mediumship. After all, Jesus was the best psychic medium of all time. He didnt just talk to the dead, he took it to the extreme -- Yo, cousin Laz,, come on back, we miss you too much, bro. But hey, at least a papal-elected ecclesiastical tribunal fueled by fear, surprise, ruthless efficiency, and almost fanatical devotion to the Pope is not burning me at the stake for heresy, so thats progress.
