Sometimes I wonder when the change occurred. At what point in our history, both personal and social, did the focus shift away from doing things like, going above expectation. When did we all stop trying to serve others and start indulging ourselves? There was a time when the goal of a person or company was to go above and beyond. To make sure the customer or client revived more than they needed. When we wanted people to use our services not because of how cheap it was, but because they knew the product had quality and integrity. When did we become a civilization of thieves trying to figure out the way to exert the minimal amount of effort and overhead and to pull the most money out of sometime wallet. When did we start preying on the uneducated in order to fool them in to believing what we spew out of our mouths as fact.
