Sometimes Society Paints A False Picture Of Reality. Are We Being Accepted Or Forgotten In Todays Society. You would think that being a little black kid growing up in the ghetto surrounded by negative feedback would eventually turn out to be a mirror image of the people he was subjected to. But as fate would have it his path was that of a higher purpose. I didnt realize how much I took for granted until I was disabled. Funny how we neglect the little things that really matter in life until we lose them. At some point we will all be unable to carry on the fight. But until that day comes I will never give up fighting. I was DX for a reason and that is more clear to me now than ever. Most consider it a plague or worse to even be given such a cross to bear. Funny to believe I see it as a gift. I would have and did curse the very name of GOD and asked why me. Careful what you ask for because sometimes you get what you want. Sometimes the answers are right under our nose, but because of our own ignorance we fail to see the equation make any sense. Have we all become so diluted that we need to constantly be reminded of what to do. Or for that matter reminded of whats important in life. Our own evolution of self awareness has become a thing that is malignant and twisted into a false fantasy of real worth. For those of you that can actually remember back when it was considered a sin, or a crime to even think of acting out against your fellow man. Now we embrace violence and negativity as if it were something of a sport to watch on the evening news, or youtube. Ignorance and intolerance has become fashionable and news worthy. :/ Self awareness and the global spectrum of self indulgence are not one and the same. Our purpose of evolution and uplifting of our self awareness must evolve into a global endeavor to heal the world itself. Not to indulge in personal pleasure behind closed doors, and spread our thoughts of negativity across a social media icon such as facebook for all eyes to see. Anything that has the mass appeal such as facebook should be used to create a means to an end. By that I mean putting an end to global ignorance and intolerance of those that are deemed unworthy by todays society. The very thought of self indulgence sickens me to no end now. Were it not for my DX’s I would have probably negated and fallen yet again to peer pressure, and vain ascension. There is far more to life than the ignorance of vanity. If you have read my words before and have wondered just what is on Burlies mind, have no doubt that I am on a path of, Adaptation, Change, Assimilation, and daily Transcendence. Not just for myself, but for anyone affected by chronic illness, invisible disease, and the ill infected ignorance of a society that has labeled the disabled. It doesn’t take much for anyone to be an advocate. All you have to do is give a DAMN, and stop hating on everyone else that is trying to make the world a better place.
