Sometimes at night, In the soft, silent darkness, Regret weighs - TopicsExpress

Sometimes at night, In the soft, silent darkness, Regret weighs on our shoulders, Despair tightens our hearts, and Worry dances behind our closed eyelids Prodding, tormenting. Yet the wearied regrets, despair, and worries that Come at night Are little more than worthless specters, Unmanageable phantoms that do nothing but Spin frantic circles and tangle our spirits. And so, like dust, let us shake them off. Let us close our eyes, breathe the evening air, And blow them away. Let us claim our right to rest, Our right to recovery, renewal, and healing. In the morning, then, we will have the Strength and clarity of mind to face what we need to change, To manage what we need to manage; Or we may well discover that the regrets, the despair, And the worries were little more than mist That has evaporated in the light of the sun.
