Sometimes being polite and exhibiting proper behavior yields mixed results. I was at Meijers supermarket today buying beer, chocolate and glue. Staples for the children right? So I go to the self-checkout line and check out and pay. But theres a person way ahead of me blocking the aisle with a cart diagonally across the aisle. The second person is young and kind of shy. Grrr. The line is backing up behind me waiting for this customer to stop talking on the cell-phone and get that freaking cart out of the way. Pardon me, Maam, Miss? i yelled from 15 feet away, Could you move your cart please? No response, just continued cell chatting. Tried again. And once more, because I know people can be distracted. Then I shoved my cart through to make room for all of the waiting customers. I got flipped off and yelled at Excuse the hell out of me, asshole! I responded Id very much like to, but I dont think your rudeness is excusable! I got two Woohoo s and a smile. [edited for punctuation]
