Sometimes dancing is so much fun that we get caught up in it... As fun as it is, we cant forget to take care of our bodies! Here is an AWESOME article from Princeton Universitys Athletic Medicine Department which does a great job of explaining the core and why lower back exercises are essential to maintaining stability and building abdominal strength. The article is focused on patients with spinal injuries, but we can all use that extra abdominal strength since the core is the core of our movement. Doing just a few of the exercises given everyday will turn you into a superhero!
