SECURITY ALERT, TIMING OF THE SUMMIT, REASON FOR POSTPONEMENT- VOYY Director of media The director of media, office of the National President, Voice Of Yoruba Youth Mr. O.A. Michael said that it is a must for VOYY to yield to advice from security personnel about the timing of the summit and the danger in staging Yoruba Youth summit in a time like this, where some political thugs were looking for avenue to showcase their rants. He said prior to the advice and letters we received from our Legal Adviser and Some security personnels, we are indebted to yield to their life saving advice after critically consider their point of view about the security of life and properties. He further stressed that the goal they intend to achieve may not be accomplished if the supporters of different political stakeholders they invited clashed, outside the consent of the invitee. And for the summit not to look like a political sponsored programme. The summit, which suppose to hold on Saturday, 24 January 2015 has however been postpone till after the General Election.
