Sometimes in life, the little things you do for a person, can often have completely unimaginable positive effects on their life. Case in point: A dear friend from Byron Bay who lives at the caravan park where we spent a considerable amount of time sent Jaiden a little package sometime ago. Inside it was the little note depicted below. At the time Jaiden had just started waking from nightmares again and was developing a fear of the dark, when he got the little post it he asked me to read it, when I did he looked at me and said dad, if I put this on my bed Ill be brave at dark time, whilst not understanding his logic I agreed to stick it to his bed. For several months now hes had this stuck to his bed, entirely convinced that the happy faces would help him stay brave in the dark. To be honest other than seeing it stuck there I hadnt really given it much thought, or that whilst Jaiden is still waking from nightmares but has not asked to sleep in my bed since that day. Today he ran out of his bedroom most distressed daaad come here quiiiick! He pointed to the post it that had fallen on the floor. See dad, happy face is fallen off, Ill be scared at dark time now. So we stuck it back on, and the world is once again at peace. Moral of the story - The smallest act of random kindness can have the the most profound effect.
