Sometimes in life you have to cut loose people you love. Sometimes the aggravation, and the pain they create is more than you can stand. Sometimes you have to realize that the temptation to stomp their ass into the ground is so great youre better off just walking away and turning the page. Now Ill admit they had already done their best to cut me out of theirs, but some how they just couldnt resist throwing a barb in every once in a while, and stirring the pot. So today I had my say, cut the tie that binds, and turned the page. The difference between me and them is, I will never feel the need to revisit it. Ive been down that road many times and I have learned how to bury memories, even when it comes to family. Some people just are not worth going to jail over. As I grow older, I find my ability to rise above hurt, pain, humiliation, and people who make bad choices, is far less tolerant. I Forgive them for their trespasses against me, and then I move on. My time left on this world is far too short to be intertwined with people who only know how to blame everyone else for their short comings, and dont know how to love themselves, let alone anyone else. I might forgive them, but I wont be tied to them in the future.
