Sometimes it can be our attempts or past accomplishments that urge ourself further . As we come to the end of 2014 , I recall some of my own attempts and accomplishments . While some were not accomplished to how I hoped, still they were accomplishments . Hopefully 2015 allows me to further grow and accomplish more . In 2014 I had 12 guest columns or letters to the editor. I did my second public speak at World AIDS Day vigil. I was a literary artist at my third Mayors Celebration of the Arts . After being a finalist three years in a row for literary/communication arts, I won the Bernice Adams Award in 2014 . I had a poem I wrote turned into a performance piece at the Registry Theatre . I have had four articles published on positivelite pertaining to HIV or AIDS. I was selected as a visual artist for Cambridge Arts Festival for three years running . I was lucky enough to interview some politicians,singers,advocates. Not bad for being the once shy and reserved one . I welcome 2015 and hope to accomplish more .
