Sometimes it is almost impossible to stay calm. when you try to get someone to understand you, when you explain a problem, only to find out that on the other side of the connection is some dude from Bangladesh, that, even when pressing 1 for English doesnt have a clue how to express himself in said language. when all you get is is a cue card response from a companies customer service line. one of those happened last night with US Airlines. I will never fly with them, because of that experience. I did get a phone number from them, but when I called it, 8 times, nobody ever picked up the phone. the answer came to me in a call to a very compassionate caring person, that not only listened, spoke perfect English and left her post to walk across a Airport to solve a problem, that should never have been a problem to begin with. I am a foreigner. not born or raised in this country. by choice i moved here 34 years ago. LEARNED THE LANGUAGE, accepted the way of life in the USA and began integration as a citizen, a free citizen of my new home. nothing pisses me of more then to hear those whiny F*** complain about their rights and not even speaking the language. well, I found a beacon of light last night at the USO at Regan National Airport, our countries Capitol, that , for no other reason then being a genuine person with a good heart, helped me to realize, that some things in life still have value....
