Sometimes its a smell. Sometimes a song...or a taste...that takes you back to another time in your life. I had that experience Tuesday when I sat down at a Pfaff model 139 that I found on Craigslist. My hand went to the light switch without thinking (in a weird spot). Having the bobbin jump out of the case in the cramped race area brought back many grumbles uttered. Haha! I learned to sew on my moms model 139 ... 49 years ago. I made most of my clothes as a teen because I got a clothing allowance (anyone else?) and it went much further. So many hours spent at that machine. No accessories or manual but it runs great and is extremely clean. Yes, she came home with me. :-)
