Sometimes its difficult to understand what is the true meaning of CAN. Some say its Christian Association of Nigeria,while others say its Corruption Association of Nigeria. I think I shall go with the latter,because the way this once prestigious body is being run today by its present commercial and political leaders,makes one to believe that our once holy CAN has been hijacked by charlatans,arms dealers,and political stooge of corrupt politicians. That CAN press release is now lace with bitterness,hatred,divide and rule rhetorics,and promotion of corrupt government policies calls for a sober reflection. That CAN so called spokesman now curse,and rain insult on perceive CAN enemies like Olisa Metuh(PDP spokesman) and Lia Muhammad(APC spokesman),reflect the characters of those who have hijacked,kidnapped,and taken CAN hostage. CAN is now a laughing stock,object of ridicule to non christians. The Roman Catholic Bishops who pulled out of CAN must be saying by now:thank God we pulled out of that rotten and corruption infested body. But must we keep quiet and allow these charlatans to run our prestigious christian body down? Must we pretend and behave as if all is well with our once great CAN that had the leadership of Sunday Mbag,Jasper Akintola,Anthony Okogie,and Onaiyekan? I guess the answer is no. We must ask this Jonathan political CAN president to resign and save us from this present disgrace and embarrassment he has brought upon CAN. Ayo Oritsejafor has every right to support,campaign,and drum support for Jonathan re-election campaign,but not with CAN platform. He can use his World of Life Bible Company(sorry church) to rally and assemble his fellow poli-religious pastorpreneurs,but not with CAN. CAN is Christian Association of Nigeria,not Ayo and sons Nigeria Limited. #SaveCan#
