Sometimes, late at night, when the rest of the world is sleeping..I lay awake and brainstorm. I concoct things in my mind, smoosh ideas together with my favorite of things. All things old and weathered and chippy. Barn wood. Old windows. I literally will go crazy thinking about things until in my mind, its just so. This is one of those late night brain busters, cant sleep, cant quit thinking about it, catch a couple hours of shut eye, and off to the garage in the freezing cold to take a whole bunch of weathered and chippy..build it while keeping all my digits attached...and not waking my neighbors up to saws, sanders and drills at 5 am, then paint everything pretty! It may be very long and tiresome..all the late nights and early mornings, smashed thumbs, and cold toes are worth what you see in the end. This piece is very unique and one of a kind to say the least! This is straight right from my mind and a late night vision turned reality! Rustic Barn wood hutch, solid and crazy heavy duty! Hand made, hand mixed and one of a kind paints and one of a kind finish! Antique 6 pane window opens the cabinet to open space with a large shelf inside. It would easily fit your receivers and blu ray players on that shelf! The top is very thick, rough cut lumber, distressed and stained a dark espresso! These colors are absolutely gorgeous and are very complimentary of each other along with the old window as the door! Certainly a conversation piece and very unique!! This would be amazing as an entry way piece, a flat screen tv stand, or even in a kitchen as a buffet/hutch! I will be making more as well, so if youd like one, Im only making a few, and you can pick your own colors and finish! Measures 58 long, 41 tall, and 16 deep!! $325 OBO.
