Sometimes new research can over complicate things. This post is nothing new - the researchers even say this though. As things get more and more advanced in this age we live in, it is sometimes good to be be able to make things as simple as possible. With this in mind, here are some basic, but fundamental tips to manage your body composition: 1) Eat real, single ingredient foods. Make sure theres protein at every meal, and build the meal around that, whether with sensible carbs or fats, and good amounts of vegetables. 2) Avoid too much sugar (theres a difference between having 10g in one sitting compared to 100g). 3) Be as active as possible throughout the day. Even just walking is good. 4) Get some form of structured weightlifting in, 2 or 3 times a week. 5) Dont go crazy on the booze. Calories do count, and theyre the easiest way to get in a good amount without really realising. bbc.co.uk/news/health-30494009
