Sometimes, our definition of someone who fears,love and reverences God from our human perspective is wrong.We are mostly carried away by what is on the outside more than the inside.Oh look at how this sister or brother is committed to Church activities.Brethren the fear of God is not in how a person preaches or how someone lie prostrate in worship.People sometimes put on all these mask to deceive others, but God is not mocked.When someone fears the Lord, it affects their character.They give respect to their fellow brethren who is in the image of Christ Jeus.How can you consiously ,deliberately do evil or afflict pain in your fellow humans life with no remorse ,and still consider yourself a Child of God ?(James 5:6 Confess your faults).People with a prideful heart and attitude always seem to justify themselves even when their wickedness is before them.They dont even care when someone pointed it to them.(James 4:6-7 God resist the pride) King David, a man after Gods own heart admitted his fault, his wickedness with no debate or an aguement when Nathan the Prophet pointed it out to him. (2Sam 12:5-13)He repented and asked God for mercy and to blot out his transgressions.(Psalms 51)Beloved, being ignorant of something that was wrongfully done is different from something we are aware of and still being pious and pompos to admit. Always we have to remember that titles or positions does not exempt us to admit our faults or wrong doings and to cry for mercy.If God did not turn a blind eye to the wickeness of David, a man after his own heart but dealt with him squarely,what makes you think you can do evil to anyone without a repentant heart and God will not repay. God is not a respecter of persons. What you sow ,you will reap so watch your ways. Food for thought for our Christian walk......#thefearofGod
