Sometimes people ask me if I miss France. No not that much. - TopicsExpress

Sometimes people ask me if I miss France. No not that much. Maybe one major thing I miss is the way we relate to one another. In France, people take more time to talk, we give more feed back and we just meet up more. Al right we are spontaneous and that means rude sometimes. If Cricklewood was in France, I would go for a walk on Sunday afternoon, possibly text a friend or we would just meet casually lets say at Merals, and I would never be short of company to have a bit of conversation over coffee or drink or food. We would talk about our jobs, our ideas, our friends, our relationships, about... yes maybe the weather too. Whilst here, even people I have known for years have managed to remain mere acquaintances. To be honest, its a bit disgusting. (censored) To be honest its a bit daunting at times.
