Sometimes people dont want to hear the truth because they dont want their illusions destroyed. (-Friedrich Nietzsche -) I think that sadly is the case with a lot of people....reality is a scary thing to a lot of people. Especially when they dont have an Anchor to hold on too....illusions are much easier to deal with. They keep us from freaking out at the Truth, because they have missed the fact that there is a bigger picture in Life with Jesus as the Saviour of the whole world. Sometimes, running away provides an escape and our belief systems tend to fail us, so we just stick our collective heads in the sand and hide from what lies ahead. But facing the Truth provides Gods Strength, and if we plug ahead, following the principles that Jesus taught us, we can grasp what needs to be done to overcome. For we are not fighting a war here on earth, but rather, we stand ready to take on the evil that exists in the Heavenlys, and stand firm in the Hope of winning the battle in the end. Gonna do something the devil wouldnt do to you (to use a phrase Big Momma - my mom used to use) and that is leave you for the night! God Bless and all those unseen (good) angels watch over you! through the night!
