Sometimes scenes seem to me to work so much better in color; others in black and white; but sometimes I really struggle; this was one of those times. Which do you like better between these two, taken just a few minutes and a few feet apart? Why? This stream was recently dammed by some beavers who took advantage of the relative quiet this part of Schwabachers Landing experienced when the area was closed to vehicle access last year because, the government said, it could not afford to maintain the porta potty located there!
