Sometimes setting a specific goal such as an athletic event or a reunion makes weight loss easier. My little one just turned one year on Sunday, and Im still struggling with weight loss. Life is stressful sometimes, and Im learning to surrender to the NOW. Somewhere along the way throughout the pregnancy, becoming a mom, separating from the ARMY, and being a wife I seemed to have lost myself. Im sure all you mamas can relate, and your husbands can understand the situation as well LOL. I need to get my life back and my body, and feel something radical. Its been about 10 years since Ive done any triathlons. My first IRONMAN was in 2005, and I just feel like I need to go IRON again :). Im starting from ground zero this time. And to tell you the truth I have about 40 lbs to lose. I know tons about health, nutrition, and wellness, and I STILL struggle just like you! This adventure will be a variety of experiences. One that Ill never forget much like the first time I completed one. You really learn about yourself, and fight your mental demons. I need to be empowered again. I think Im going to get a page up and running about my journey to IRONMAN Lake Tahoe 2015. You can do whatever you set your mind too!
