Sometimes silence can be deafening. If I told you that a Democrat candidate running for Ohio Secretary of State spoke at a voting rights event where a woman who had been convicted of voter fraud was being honored, would you believe me? The candidate has been silent about the event since it was uncovered. I found it hard to believe when I first heard about it too but its a true story. Democrat State Senator Nina Turner is running to unseat our Republican Secretary of State Jon Husted and her silence on this issue makes you wonder if she even understands that somebody casting multiple illegal ballots is a big problem. Even local democrats denounced the honoring of somebody who was convicted of voter fraud after we raised the hypocrisy of the issue to the media - But why is Nina Turner still silent about it? Does her silence imply that Senator Turner endorses voter fraud? Wed hope not, but its hard to know without hearing her opinion. Of course, silence about illegal voting is what youd expect from a Democrat who recorded a phone call telling voters to vote early, vote often, vote Democrat. This is yet another reason why we cannot allow the Democrats to win this year. Ohios Republican Leaders have put our state back on the path to prosperity and with your help, theyll win their re-election campaigns this year and keep up the momentum.
