Sometimes situations arent about not forgiving others rather that things just cant be the same anymore because of an occurrence. The person afflicted by an offensive occurrence isnt at fault. They arent responsible for fixing anything. Forgiving the offender doesnt change anything. The one offended has no power in the situation. They have no say so. Forgiving someone isnt for the sake of the offender. Thats what Gods forgiveness is for. Forgiving someone is for the peace and tranquility of the offended, the one afflicted, so they are not continually haunted by an occurrence. A person that is a victim of an offense is NOT responsible for the well being of the offender. You may love that person or be loving and caring to them or for them but you are NOT responsible for their peace of mind and well being. Even if they genuinely are remorseful, you are not responsible for their betterment. You CAN choose to be but you are NOT responsible but that is often exactly what
