Sometimes taking that next step is so challenging. Not because it takes courage, but because sometimes that step feels like its being taken in the dark, where you cannot see which direction you are going in. I find I have been in that standstill waiting for a light to come on and show me the way. Im feeling around the room, the surfaces around me, but I cannot tell truly where I am or where Im going. I struggle. I try to remain patient, to surrender and be positive. But sometimes standing in the dark for so long, I wonder will the light ever come on, or am I really meant to just take that step - no matter if I fumble or fall - through the darkness. Ive been asking for clarity but perhaps that is the wrong question to ask. Its all too easy to sit waiting for that light to turn on and show the way. Maybe instead, its about closing my eyes and seeing what I find within the darkness.
