Sometimes the best praise you can give God is the praise you don’t think you have. It’s the praise that hides behind the shame and the disgust. Difficult times will prepare your hidden praise. Praise is the thing that attracts God; it gets His attention. Humble praise never draws attention to itself. Real praise says, “God you’re everything, and I’m nothing without you.” Real praise sits and waits until the needed time. Praise will give you a glimpse of Heaven’s movements. When in doubt, praise your way out. Praise will give you the answer to the burning question, “God where are you?” You will find out that He has been living in your praise all the time. As a matter of fact, He inhabits the praise of His people. Grateful praise will cause the atmosphere to change. If you’re not happy with your status quo, change it with your hidden praise.
