Sometimes the economy needs to fail in order for us to realize the current system just isn’t working. More so, it forces us to appreciate and focus on whats really important in life - our loved ones, our environment, our education, our healthcare, access to affordable shelter, food security and a society where theres equal opportunity for all to follow their true passions. Its about time we stopped measuring the success of our country solely based the GDP and how much money people make and start measuring it based on the quality of life for our people and how much of it they enjoy.
